ST. CHARLES, MO. - The Lindenwood gymnastics team took first with a score of 195.425 in a tri-meet against Centenary College and Greenville on Sunday afternoon in Hyland Arena.
"Today was a huge testament to the character of this team," said Head Coach Catelyn Branson. "We had several new faces in the lineups for the first time and every single person was resilient. Excited to keep the momentum going."

INSIDE THE SCORES
- The Lions' vault lineup had a dominant showing today, with Allie Berkley sitting atop the team's leaderboard in the event for the first time in her collegiate career. The freshman led the way with her 9.800 score, while Riley Daniels and Gayla Griswold were next in line with their 9.775 performances.
- Kaylee Cooper led the charge on the uneven bars today with her stellar 9.85 performance, greatly contributing to the team's 48.800 final score on the event. Hannah Appleget and Savannah Newsome also had strong showings on the bars with their 9.750 scores
- Hannah Moon achieved a new personal best on the balance beam with her 9.85 performance, truly setting the tone for the Lions' beam lineup this meet. Nya Kraus hit an impressive 9.825 to score the second-highest in the event, while a 9.800 from Hannah Appleget also contributed to the team's 48.900.
- The floor team had a great meet, with many high scores reached from various Lions. Trinity Caffey, Reagan Jones and Kaylee Cooper all achieved new personal bests in the event with their 9.775 scores. Gayla Griswold led the way in the event for another meet in a row with her 9.85, while Sydney Lopez was close behind with her 9.800.
- The Lions set a new event record with their floor score of 48.975, rounding out the meet in the best possible fashion.
