COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --The Lindenwood baseball team (7-25, 4-5 OVC) lost the final game of the weekend series to Tennessee Tech (10-20, 2-4 OVC) by a final of 4-3 on Saturday.
Freshman Carson Subbert was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going four shutout innings while allowing three hits, walking none and striking out four.
Junior Tyson Ludwig led the way offensively for the Lions, going 2-for-4 in the ballgame with a home run and an RBI. Junior Anthony Stellato compiled a standout effort as well, going 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and an RBI. Senior Joe Copeland also chipped in, going 2-for-3 for Lindenwood with a double and a walk.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 4-0, the Lions first put runs on the board in the fifth inning. Lindenwood scored three runs, including one driven in on a home run by Ludwig. The Lions were unable to get any closer, as neither team scored again in the ballgame.
