The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (10-12, 7-7 MIVA) sent its seniors out with a victory in the final home game of the regular season with a 3-1 win over McKendree (6-15, 1-13 MIVA) on Saturday from Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions and Bearcats went back-and-forth early, as neither team put up consecutive points until the Lions took a 13-11 lead. McKendree built a 22-20 advantage, but the Lions battled to prolong the first set. The Bearcats ended the set with a 33-31 marathon advantage to claim set one.

Lindenwood fell behind early in the second set, as the Bearcats went up 7-3. McKendree maintained its distance, and collected a 15-10 lead. But, the Lions roared back to tie the set at 20-20 before taking the second set in a 25-23 victory. The third set stayed consistent with the prior frames, as the two teams were tied at 16-16. With short-lived momentum swings, the Lions eventually claimed the third set by a margin of 25-22.

The Lions earned the first point of the fourth set, and held on to the lead for the entirety of the frame. Lindenwood capped off the night with a 25-21 victory, moving the win total to 10 on the season.
