SEASON REVIEW
The Lindenwood beach volleyball squad posted a record of 8-14, including a mark of 2-8 against OVC opponents during their inaugural season. Lindenwood picked up their first conference win against Tennessee Tech, defeating the Golden Eagles 3-2 on March 24

HIGHLIGHTS

•  Lindenwood went 3-1 in its first weekend of play. As a pair, Katie Malzahn and Maider Soto compiled a perfect 4-0 record, earning them OVC Pair of the Week honors.
• Malzahn and Soto garnered this honor two times during the year.
• The duo compiled a record of 14-6 during the year, including a 7-3 mark against conference foes
• For their efforts, they earned first team all-conference honors, while Malzahn was tabbed conference freshman of the year.
• Lindenwood won its first and only home match this season, earning a 3-2 win over OVC opponent Eastern Illinois on April 16

QUOTABLE
"This team has laid the foundation for years to come through their hard work on the sand, in the weight room, and with each other, said head coach Alli Duckworth. "We have built a culture of supporting and accepting one another and we learned a ton about how we want to enhance that moving forward. Growth was our mindset this season. Each player excelled at personal, mental, social, and physical growth. I'm looking forward to what new improvements and milestones we achieve in year two!"
