ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Trent Burnham from the Lindenwood men's hockey program was invited to the St. Louis Blues Prospect camp hosted at the Centene Community Ice Center starting on Saturday, July 1st.

Burnham completed his sophomore season during the 2022-23 campaign where he started 16 games in net for the Lions. Burnham posted a .901 save rate last season with 610 total saves and a 5-10-1 record during Lindenwood's inaugural Division I season.

"I am very proud for Trent," said head coach Rick Zombo. " He's been recognized by the Blues for how good his talent is now and most importantly his upside potential to lead a professional hockey team as their goalie. The feelings that I got when this was announced mirrored how I would feel if he was my son."

The St. Louis Blues announced that they will host their 2023 Prospect Camp at Centene from July 1 through July 4 with all sessions open to the public. Blues prospects will be split into two teams for camp - Team MacInnis and Team Tkachuk. Each team will participate in practice sessions and 4-on-4 and 3-on-3 scrimmages during each day of camp.

"I'm very excited and honored to have the opportunity to be invited to the St. Louis Blues development camp," said Burnham.

"I hope it will be a good chance for me to develop my skills as well as represent my team and university in the process. The Blues have been very generous sharing the facility as well as exposing me and some of our other players to a professional environment."
