CHARLOTTE, N.C. – On Friday afternoon, the Lindenwood field hockey team (1-3) faced off against Queen's University of Charlotte (0-7). The Lions would win over the Royals 1-0.

GAME OVERVIEW
In a low scoring affair, defense was the name of the game. In the first period both teams were held scoreless, with a total of four shots by both teams. The Royals would control the offense category with three shots to the Lions one, in the first frame. In the second period the Lions would get on the board from an Eléonore de Lasa shot assisted by Izzy Folan in the 22nd minute of the match. The Lions would lead 1-0 going into the break, after shutting out the Royals for the remainder of the second period.
