BOSTON, MASS. – On Monday, College Hockey America (CHA) announced their players of the week. Two members of the Lindenwood women's ice hockey program were tabbed as players of the week in their respective positions, based on their play over the weekend.
Molly Henderson was recognized as the CHA Forward of the Week. Henderson contributed five points on the weekend in a series sweep over RIT. In the first game of the weekend, the Illinois native tallied one goal and two assists in a 4-2 win over the Tigers. In the second game of the weekend, Henderson contributed one goal and one assist in a 3-2 overtime win over the Tigers.
Natalie Ferenc was recognized as the CHA Goalie of the Week. Ferenc was a force to reckon with in net for the Lions. The Michigan native was key piece in the Lions series sweep over the Tigers, making 63 saves in two games on four goals against.
