The Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Conference announced the preseason Women's Hockey poll this morning, with Lindenwood coming in at number six in the poll, finishing just ahead of Delaware who starts their first season in the AHA. The reigning champions, Penn State, come in at number one and are followed by Mercyhurst, RIT, Syracuse, and Robert Morris. 

The Lions will look to bounce back this season after winning five games a season ago. Lindenwood adds 12 newcomers to the roster with eight of them being Freshman. The other four newcomers are transfers, and will look to add experience and depth to the Lions for the 2025-2026 season. The first game of the season is right around the corner as Lindenwood will travel to Minnesota on September 19 to take on St. Cloud State. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m.
