Wasylk Inducted Into Women’s Beanpot Hall of Fame

BOSTON, MASS.— Lindenwood women's ice hockey coach Taylor Wasylk, a Boston College alumnus (2014) is set to be inducted into the Women's Beanpot Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place before the Dunkin' Women's Beanpot Championship game on January 23 at TD Garden, held in Boston, Mass.

"I am extremely honored to be part of the 2024 induction class for the Beanpot Hall of Fame," said Wasylk. "One of the absolute greatest things I've been apart of was playing in the Beanpot every February. Going head-to-head with your cross-town rivals, fighting for not just a spot in the national rankings, but to win a trophy mid-season was an amazing experience."

"I am very honored that the committee has chosen me this year, alongside some other amazing players, and I look forward to seeing the Women's championship played at TD Garden for the first time in the tournament's existence on Tuesday night", said Wasylk.

Wasylk joins Corinne Schroeder (BU), Sandra Whyte-Sweeney (Harvard), and Shelly Looney (Northeastern) in the Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

At Boston College, Wasylk won two beanpot crowns (2011 and 2014) and the coveted Most Valuable Player award in 2014, after contributing three points in the tournament, as well as scoring the game-winning goal over Northeastern in the tournament final.
