Men’s Ice Hockey Falls 3-2 to Air Force

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – On Friday night, men's ice hockey (1-1-0) took on the Air Force Academy Falcons (1-3-0). The Lions would fall to the Falcons 3-2.

GAME OVERVIEW
In the first period, Lindenwood would get on the board first, coming from a David Gagnon score 16:01 into the frame, while playing short-handed. Gagnon's goal would be assisted by Jack Anderson. Lindenwood's lead would be short-lived. With 1:06 left in the period, Air Force was able to capitalize while on the powerplay, tying the game up at 1-1. After a period of play, the Lions would be tied with the Falcons 1-1. Lindenwood would have eleven shots on target in the period. Owen Bartoszkiewicz would stop eight pucks in the period.
