COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – On Sunday, men's ice hockey (1-2-0) took on Air Force (2-3-0) for the second time this weekend. The Lions would fall 2-1 to the Falcons, after holding a one goal lead for the first two periods.

GAME OVERVIEW
In the first period, Lindenwood would find the back of the net first, scoring 12:18 into the period. Ethan Zielke would be attributed Lindenwood's goal and would be assisted by Jaeden Mercier and Jack Anderson. Zielke's goal would be the only goal in the period, resulting in the Lions leading 1-0, after a period of play. In the first period, Lindenwood had ten shots on net. Owen Bartoszkiewicz in the period stopped six pucks.

In the second period, both teams would be held off the scoring column. After two periods of play, Lindenwood would lead 1-0. In the period, Lindenwood had six shots on net. Bartoszkiewicz in the period would make ten saves.
 
In the third period, Air Force would find their first goal of the game, 11:07 into the final frame. Air Force's first tally of the game, would come while on the powerplay, tying the game up at 1-1. With 3:28 left in the third, Air Force would score the game-winning-goal while even-strength. The Lions would have five shots on net in the final period of play. Bartoszkiewicz would make eight saves in the final period, for 24 total stops on the afternoon.
 
After the final whistle, the Lions fall to 1-3-0 on the season.
