COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – On Sunday, men's ice hockey (1-2-0) took on Air Force (2-3-0) for the second time this weekend. The Lions would fall 2-1 to the Falcons, after holding a one goal lead for the first two periods.
GAME OVERVIEW
In the first period, Lindenwood would find the back of the net first, scoring 12:18 into the period.
Ethan Zielke would be attributed Lindenwood's goal and would be assisted by
Jaeden Mercier and
Jack Anderson. Zielke's goal would be the only goal in the period, resulting in the Lions leading 1-0, after a period of play. In the first period, Lindenwood had ten shots on net.
