MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. – On Friday afternoon, Lindenwood women's ice hockey (2-11-1, 1-3-0 AHA) took on conference foe, Syracuse (4-9, 2-2-0 AHA). The Lions would fall to the Orange 2-1, with the Lions moving to 2-12-1 on the season, and 1-4-0 in conference play.

GAME OVERVIEW
In period one, both teams would be held off the scoresheet, resulting in a 0-0 tie after 20 minutes of play. In the period, Lindenwood had five shots on net. Anna LaRose would make nine stops in the period.

In the second period, Syracuse would break the scoreless tie with 19 seconds left in the period. Leading into the final period of play, Syracuse would lead 1-0. In the frame, Lindenwood had 17 shots on net. LaRose would make six saves in the period.

In the third period, Syracuse would go up 2-0, scoring on a power-play opportunity at 8:17. Exactly four minutes later, Lindenwood would cut Syracuse's lead in half, with Zsofia Pazmandi netting her second goal of the season, assisted by Molly Henderson, and Tatem Starlight-Yellowfly who would register her first career point as a Lion. In the final period of play, Lindenwood would have nine shots on net for a total of 31 on the night. LaRose would make five saves in the period, for a total of 20 on the afternoon.
