EAST LANSING, MICH. – On Friday night, men's ice hockey (3-10-1) battled the No.1 Ranked Michigan State Spartans (9-1-0). The Lions would fall to the Spartans 4-0, after trailing by two goals early. After the contest, Lindenwood moves to 3-11-1 on the campaign.
GAME OVERVIEW
In the first period, Michigan State would net the first goal of the game. The Spartans first goal would come at 9:21 into the period, while on the power-play. A little less than three minutes later at 12:35, the Spartans would extend their lead to two, and would be the final goal of the period. After a period of play the Lions would trail 2-0.
