ROCHESTER, N.Y. – On Friday afternoon, women's ice hockey (3-12-1, 2-4-0 AHA) took on the RIT Tigers (7-7-3, 2-3-1 AHA). Lindenwood would fall to the Tigers 9-4, with Lindenwood moving to 3-13-1 on the season and 2-5-0 in AHA play. With the win, RIT moves to 8-7-0 overall and 3-3-1 in conference play.
 
GAME OVERVIEW
RIT would score three goals in the first period of play, all coming while even-strength. RIT's first goal would come 31 seconds into the period, on a breakaway opportunity. RIT's second goal of the game came at 2:09 into the frame, scoring off a wrist shot. RIT's final goal of the period, coming at 12:55, was scored off a one-timer from a pass behind the net. RIT would score two more before the end of the period, resulting in the Lions trailing 6-2, after two periods of play. RIT would outshoot Lindenwood 12-11 in the frame.

In the third period, RIT would find the back of the net first at 5:36, scoring while on the power-play, extending their lead to five. Zsofia Pazmandi at 12:03 would score her second goal of the afternoon, to cut the Tigers lead to four. At 7:57, Lindenwood would trail 7-3. RIT would score the next two goals to put the Tigers up 9-3. Lindenwood would score the final goal of the game with 16 seconds left, coming from a Sydney Rarick goal, assisted by Josey Dunne and Gigi Pora, cutting the Lions deficit to five. RIT would outshoot Lindenwood in the period 13-10. On the afternoon, Lindenwood would have 30 shots on net. Lindenwood would save 35 shots during this afternoon's contest.
