ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Lindenwood beach volleyball (9-5, 2-2 OVC) defeated McKendree in their first of two home matches this week at Evans Courts on the campus of Lindenwood University by a final score of 5-0. It marked the fifth sweep of the season for the Lions.
Nyah Wilson and
Maider Soto continued to be successful at the number one pair with scores of 21-12 and 21-16 against McKendree's Brooke Junker and Natalie Witt. The duo improves to 3-1 on the season.
Katie Malahn and
Abby Jacobs also had a winning match against McKendree to end Tuesday's match with scores of 21-11 and 21-19.
Jessie Seidel and
Annalie McWhorter clinched the match with the third point of the afternoon with a two set victory with scores of 21-15 and 21-17.
At the number four pair,
Amber Schade and
Elise Llorens also picked up a two set victory on Tuesday with scores of 21-10 and 21-7.
McKenna Androsky and
Bailey Dugan rounded out the afternoon with a pair five win with scores of 21-11 and 21-7.
