CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Lindenwood beach volleyball team (14-5, 4-1 OVC) picked up another conference win with a 4-1 victory at Eastern Illinois (2-8, 1-5 OVC) on Friday afternoon. The Lions are now 3-0 against the Panthers this season.

Lindenwood would drop their first point of the match with a 2-0 loss at the fives before winning the next four pairings. Katie Bockhorst and Lexie Schauffler secured LU's first point with a straight set win at the fours before No. 3 pair Gabby Belcher and Aubrey Sheppard put the Lions in front with another 2-0 victory.

Nyah Wilson and Susanna Beretti were responsible for the match clinching point with a straight set win at the ones before Abby Jacobs and Annalie McWhorter finished the day strong with a 2-1 win at the twos.
