Reece Thomas for Lindenwood's lone touchdown of the game midway through the fourth quarter. It was the first score as a member of the Black and Gold for both players.

Logan Seibert converted on a pair of field goals from 32 and 20 yards, respectively during the loss. With those two makes, the Belleville, Ill. native moved into sixth place on the programs all-time scoring list with 212 career points. He has made 31 field goals during his time at Lindenwood.

Jeff Caldwell 12 times, which resulted in six catches for 99 yards for the junior wideout, which led the offense. The Louisville, Ky. native went for 16.5 yards per catch and had a long of 40.

Steve Hall continues to be a bright spot out of the backfield as he tallied a career-high 59 rushing yards on 11 carries last week. The St. Louis, Mo. native has been a threat both through the air and on the ground in two games, leading the squad with 110 all-purpose yards.

Defensively, the Lions were led by a pair of linebackers in
Devon Edwards and
Ethan Stuhlsatz who recorded 12 and 11 stops apiece. The duo each have 20 tackles through two games this season, which ranks 20th in the country among FCS teams.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the Lions and Bears. Missouri State enters the matchup with a 0-2 record with losses over Montana and Ball State. Jmariyae Robinson paces the team with 10 receptions for 128 yards and one touchdown.
