Bowtell Makes 37 Saves in 4-0 Loss to #11 St. Cloud State

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. – On Saturday night, women's ice hockey took on #11 St. Cloud State. The Lions would fall to the Huskies 4-0.

GAME OVERVIEW
In the first period, St. Cloud State would net the first goal of the game with 6:12 left in the frame. The Huskies first goal of the game would come while on the power-play. The Huskies would strike again, scoring with 18 seconds left in the frame. The Huskies second goal would also come while on the power-play. After a period of play, the Lions would trail the Huskies 2-0. In the period, shots remained relatively even, with the Huskies having a 12-9 advantage in shots.

In the second period, both teams were held off the scoring column for first nine minutes of the frame. With 10:55 to go in the period, St. Cloud State would net their third goal of the game. With a second left to go in the period, St. Cloud would extend their lead to four, with the goal coming while on the power-play. After two periods of play, Lindenwood would trail 4-0.
