MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. – On Friday night, women's ice hockey (3-16-1) took on Robert Morris (6-14-2). The Lions would tie Robert Morris 3-3, after holding the lead for two straight periods. After the contest, Lindenwood moved to 3-16-2 on the 2024-25 campaign, and Robert Morris would move to 6-14-3.

GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood would find the first goal on the night at the 12:51 mark in the frame, coming from a Robert Morris turnover inside their defensive zone. Silje Gundersen would zip a shot passed the Colonials goaltender's glove side to put the Lions up 1-0. Gundersen's third goal of the freshman campaign would be assisted by Sena Takenaka. Lindenwood would keep the Colonials off the board for the remainder of the period, resulting in the Lions leading 1-0 after a period of play. In the third period, the Colonials would get on the board early, scoring at the 6:55 mark in the frame, cutting the Colonials deficit to one. Lindenwood would get a penalty in the final minute of the period, which would produce a penalty shot opportunity for the Colonials, with the Colonials burying the penalty shot with 42 seconds to go. Both teams would be held scoreless for the remainder of the period, forcing overtime. In the period, the Lions had eight shots on net and Hodgins would stop 11 shots.

Both teams would be held off the scoresheet in the overtime period, forcing a shootout. Lindenwood would have eight shots on net in the overtime period. Hodgins would make two stops.

Robert Morris would win the shootout over the Lions 2-1, with Robert Morris picking up two conference points and the Lions picking up one.
