Women’s Ice Hockey Falls 3-1 to Penn State on Cancer Awareness Night

MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. – On Friday night, women's ice hockey took on #8 Penn State in game one versus the Nittany Lions. Lindenwood would drop their contest with Penn State, falling to the Nittany Lions 3-1. After the contest, Lindenwood would fall to 3-20-2 on the 2024-25 campaign and Penn State would improve to 22-4-1 on the season.

GAME OVERVIEW
Penn State would start the scoring off in this contest. Just 3:36 into the game, Penn State would find the first goal of the night off a tipped-in pass from the high slot. Penn State's early answer would be the only score in the period, resulting in the Nittany Lions leading 1-0, after 20 minutes of play. In the frame, Lindenwood would find seven shots on net.
