MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO – On Saturday, women's ice hockey took on #8 Penn State in game two of the series against the Nittany Lions. Lindenwood would be held scoreless in the contest, falling 4-0 to Penn State. Lindenwood would fall to 3-21-2 on the season, and Penn State would improve to 23-4-1. 

GAME OVERVIEW
With 1:03 left in the first period, Penn State would find the game's first goal on a 1-on-0 opportunity. The period would end with Lindenwood trailing 1-0. Catherine Hodgins in the period, would make 13 stops in net for Lindenwood. On the offensive side of the puck, Lindenwood would find five shots on net.

In the second period, Penn State found the back of the net twice. Penn State's second goal of the afternoon would come 5:13 into the period, scoring off a tap-in opportunity from a pass behind the net. Penn State's third goal of the night came while short-handed with 9:56 left in the period, finding the back of the net on a shot to the near side. On the afternoon, Lindenwood had 20 shots on net. LaRose and Hodgins would make a combined 44 saves in net for Lindenwood.
