MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. – On Saturday, women's ice hockey (3-15-1, 2-6-0 AHA) took on Minnesota State (10-9-1, 4-9-1 WCHA), to finish out their non-conference slate. The Lions would fall to the Mavericks 4-1, dropping to 3-16-1 on the season and the Mavericks would improve to 11-9-1.

GAME OVERVIEW
Minnesota State would start the scoring off in the contest, finding the back of the net with 43 seconds left in the first period. After the end of period one, Minnesota State would lead 1-0 over the Lions. Lindenwood would have seven shots on net in the period. Catherine Hodgins would make nine saves in the period.

In period two, Maegan Cronan would get the Lions on the board while on the power-play at the 15:24 mark in the frame, tying the game up at 1-1. Cronan's third goal of the season would be assisted by Ellie Muscedere and Sydney Rarick.
