The Lindenwood men's hockey program will be hosting a Hockey Night at Lindenwood benefit dinner at the Hollowood Casino on January 12th. The event is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and will feature guest appearances from St. Louis hockey legends Paul Stastny and Chris Wideman.
"This dinner will be a great night for Lindenwood hockey, and it will be a fantastic opportunity to hear from some of St. Louis' best hockey players in Paul Stasny and Chris Wideman", said Lions head coach Keith Fisher. "We look forward to hosting everyone at Hollywood Casino on January 12."
About Paul Stastny
The son of Hockey Hall of Famer and former St. Louis Blue Peter Stastny, Paul Stastny spent the first eight years of his career with the Colorado Avalanche before signing a free agent contract with the Blues in July 2014. During his near four-year stint in St. Louis, he played in 267 games and scored 175 points on 56 goals and 119 assists, helping the Blues to a Central Division Championship in 2014-15 and Western Conference Finals appearance in 2016.

About Chris Wideman
St. Louis native Chris Wideman spent six seasons in the NHL after being drafted out of Miami (OH) in 2009. He had 78 points (20 goals, 58 assists) in 291 regular-season games for the Ottawa Senators, Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers and Montreal Canadiens, including an NHL career-high 27 points (four goals, 23 assists) in 64 games with the Canadiens in 2021-22. His four points (one goal, three assists) in 15 Stanley Cup Playoff games helped Ottawa reach Game 7 of the 2017 Eastern Conference Final, a 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
