After a bye week, the Lindenwood football team (3-3, 2-0 OVC-Big South) returns to the field to take on No. 8 Tennessee Tech (6-0, 3-0 OVC-Big South) at 1:00 p.m. from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo. for Community Day

The Lions are coming off a 30-14 win over UT Martin a couple weeks ago. After the score was tied at seven heading into halftime, Lindenwood outscored the Skyhawks 23-7 in the second half, giving the Black and Gold their fifth-straight victory inside Hunter Stadium dating back to last season. The Black and Gold have won three-straight games against FCS opponents since the 2022 campaign when they knocked off Central Arkansas, Eastern Illinois, and Murray State.

Lindenwood presented a balanced attack offensively with 227 passing yards and 156 rushing yards.
Nate Glantz completed 12-of-17 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns. His favorite target through the air was
Jalen Smith who hauled in three catches for a career-high 146 yards and a touchdown. Prior to 2025, Smith's most receiving yards in a season was 103 which came last season.

Glantz also led the rushing attack with 91 yards on the ground. This is the second time this season in which the Elkhorn, Neb. native has led the Lions' ground game during a contest this season, as he had 104 yards in a 30-27 win over Stony Brook on September 20. Overall, the is Glantz's third game this year in which he has over 300 yards of total offense. The Lions are 2-1 in those games.

Defensively, the Lions tied a season-high with three sacks as
Tajay Passmore,
Nolan O'Hara and
Kobe McClendon each had one. Passmore has recorded a career-high three sacks so far this season.
Sanjay Strickland also forced a fumble and Lindenwood has now caused a turnover in five straight games after not having one in the season opener.

Lindenwood will host Gardner-Webb next week for Homecoming at 2:00 p.m. before hitting the road for two straight against Tennessee State and Western Illinois. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

31.7: In three wins this season, the Lions are averaging 31.7 points per game and have scored 30 or more in all of them. Lindenwood is averaging just 8.7 points per game in losses, both of which have come against FBS opponents
298: Lindenwood's defense held UT Martin to 298 yards of total offense, a season-low against this defensive unit on the year. The Skyhawks had 168 yards passing and ran 61 total plays, both were also opponent single-game lows
