GAME OVERVIEW
Both teams traded a pair of three and outs to begin the game, before Lindenwood went on a 10-play 84-yard drive, capped off by a 35-yard screen pass from Nate Glantz to Jared Rhodes putting the Lions up 7-0 with 4:19 left in the opening frame.

Tech cut into the lead with a field goal early in the second quarter and would jump in front, 10-7 with a touchdown a few minutes later. Lindenwood responded with a touchdown of its own as Glantz found Darrin Fugitt after a weather delay, putting the Black and Gold back in front, 14-10. The Golden Eagles retook the lead with a TD a few minutes later, going up 17-14, which would be the score at the break.

Tennessee Tech took its largest lead of the day with a touchdown to begin the third quarter and would extend the lead to 31-14 with 7:18 left in the third. It took less than two minutes for Lindenwood to answer as Glantz connected with Jalen Smith over the middle, making the score 31-21. Tech's offense continued to role with another score late in the third, and led 38-21 after three.

Lindenwood got a big turnover to begin the fourth when Alex Dawkins forced a fumble. The Lions turned it into points with some trickery when Glantz faked to the right and threw back to left tackle Gavin Hulet for six, cutting the deficit to 38-28 with just under 10 minutes to go in the fourth.
