Lindenwood is coming off a 52-28 loss to No. 8 Tennessee Tech last week in a game that saw two weather delays. The Lions had the lead late in the n the second quarter and cut the deficit to 10 in the third, before the Golden Eagles ultimately pulled away, handing Lindenwood its first loss at home since October 5, 2024.
Â
Nate Glantz led the offensive attack, tying a career-high with four touchdown passes on the day. The Elkhorn, Neb. native had over 300 yards of total offense for the fourth time this season, throwing for 294 yards and rushing for 22 more. His favorite target was
Jalen Smith who had over 100 yards and found the end zone for the second consecutive game. The Shiloh, Ill. native ranks second in the Association with 442 receiving yards on the year.
Â
Smith was one of four receivers that Glantz found on the day, as he also connected with
Jared Rhodes, Darrin Fuggitt and
Gavin Hulet. It was the first receiving touchdown of the year for all three and the first career for Hulet which came on a fake to the right and a throw back left.
Â
Tajay Passmore added another sack to his career-high total, giving him four on the year, all coming in the last four games. That total ranks third in the Association.
