On Tuesday afternoon, the Atlantic Hockey America Conference announced their latest Players of the Week in Women's Hockey for the week of November 3 - 9. Among the Players of the Week was Freshman Forward
Michaela Paulinyova, who was tabbed the AHA Rookie of the Week. Paulinyova led the Lions with a team-high four points in the weekend series against Syracuse, and scored her first career game-winning goal in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Orange. She also led all AHA freshmen in points (2G-2A) last week.
Paulinyova has appeared in all 14 games during the 2025-26 season, and is tied for the team lead in points with eight. She has four goals and four assists so far this season, and is second on the Lindenwood squad in goals scored. In the victory over Syracuse, the 5'5 Forward from Slovakia set a career-high for points in a single game with three and recorded her first multi-point game of the season. She scored the game-winning-goal early on in the second period in the win over Syracuse on Saturday, and assisted on the Lion's first and last goals of the game. Paulinyova also scored Lindenwood's lone goal of the game on Friday in their 2-1 Overtime loss. She becomes the second Lion to win a Player of the Week award in the AHA this season, joining teammate
Tatiana Blichova, who was also named the AHA Rookie of the Week back on October 14.
Lindenwood will hit the road this week as they will travel to the newest member of the AHA in the Delaware Blue Hens. Puck drop on Friday will be at 4 p.m. CT.
