ST. CHARLES, Mo.- On Monday afternoon, the Lindenwood Men's Soccer team learned their first round opponent for the NCAA Tournament. The Lions will be taking on the Kansas City Roos out of the Summit League on Thursday night at 6 p.m. in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Roos fell in the Summit League Championship game on Saturday to Denver, and the winner between the Lions and Roos will play at the number 12 seed Stanford at 7 p.m CT. on Sunday, November 23. The Lions will look to continue their historic season with a postseason push beginning on Thursday night after clinching their first Ohio Valley Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday night and becoming the first team in Lindenwood school history to qualify for the NCAA Divison I National Tournament.
