Last Time Out
The Lions dropped their season opener last night at #10 Texas Tech by a score of 98-60. Mekhi Cooper led the Lions in scoring with 15 points, while Milos Nenadic and Robert Lewis each collected double-doubles. After Lindenwood took a 12-7 lead following a three pointer made by Cooper, the Red Raiders went on a 14-2 run to go up 21-14. Texas Tech knocked down 12 threes in the first half, and took a 58-30 lead into the locker room. In the second half, Jeremiah Talton led the Lions with nine points, including two three pointers, while Lewis added six points on 3-5 shooting and Nenadic had seven of his 12 points in the last 20 minutes of the game. The Lions struggled offensively as they shot 31.1% from the field and knocked down 23.8% of their three point attempts. Clayton Jackson finished the contest with a team-high five assists while Lewis grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds, tying his career high.

The Eutectics come into the contest with the Lions with an overall record of 1-4. Their lone win came back on October 30 as they defeated Central Christian College Of The Bible in Overtime by a score of 107-98. UHSP is led by Junior Guard Justin Coleman who is averaging a team-high 14.4 points per game. Coleman has scored in double figures in all five games played so far for the Eutectics, and is shooting 44.4% from the field so far in 2025-26. 

The Lions have an all-time record of 3-0 against UHSP, with the most recent victory coming last season in Hyland Arena by a score of 98-30. Jaylon McDaniel scored 13 points in the win over the Eutectics, going a perfect 5-5 from the field and grabbing three rebounds, while Jadis Jones and Anias Futrell combined for 26 points on 12-14 shooting.
