Last Time Out
Lindenwood Men's Basketball got back in the win column last Monday as they defeated UMKC by a score of 80-67 inside of Hyland Arena. The Lions improved to 3-4 on the season and are now 2-0 on their home floor. Jadis Jones led the Lions with a team-high 19 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds in the victory over the Roos, posting his second straight double-double. Sophomore Guard Dontrez Williams scored 13 points on 5-9 shooting and dished out a career-high six assists as the duo of Jones and Williams combined for 32 points. Lindenwood extended their lead all the way up to 18 points in the second half after Jeremiah Talton nailed a three pointer and the Lions would hang on to pick up their third win of the season.

Scouting The Huskies
Northern Illinois is also 3-4 on the 2025-26 season with wins over ULM, Benedictine, and Loyola Chicago. The Huskies are currently 2-0 on their home floor and have averaged 109.2 points per game in their two games at home so far this season. NIU is led by Sophomore Guard Makhai Valentine, who has started all seven games for the Huskies. He is averaging 11.6 points per game and has scored in double figures in four of his seven games played this season. The transfer from Missouri State leads the team in rebounding, grabbing 39 boards for an average of 5.9 per game. NIU also has a Freshman guard in Dylan Ducommun who leads the team in scoring with 13.3 points per game. Duccommun has appeared in the last three contests for the Huskies and scored a career-high 24 points in their win over Loyola Chicago, shooting 9-14 from the field and knocking down six three pointers in 36 minutes of action.

The matchup between the Lions and Huskies marks the first time that these two squads will face one another.
