Last Time Out
Lindenwood Men's Basketball improved to 6-4 overall and won their fourth straight game last Tuesday as they defeated Culver Stockton 110-44. The Lions shot 70% from the field in the 66 point win, and six different Lions scored in double figures. Anias Futrell led the offensive surge scoring 17 points on 7-9 shooting from the field, including a perfect 3-3 from the three point line. As a team, Lindenwood shot 12-19 (63.2%) from beyond the arc and went 14-17 from the free throw line. Jadis Jones recorded his fourth double-double in his last five games played scoring 11 points and grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds in the matchup against the Wildcats. 12 different players scored a bucket to help the Lions improve to 3-0 inside of Hyland Arena in 2025-26.

Scouting The Leathernecks
Western Illinois sits at 4-7 on the 2025-26 season and are currently on a two game winning streak. The Leathernecks picked up their first Division I win of the season in their most recent game on Saturday, defeating North Dakota on the road in Overtime by a final score of 69-66. Senior Forward Karyiek Dixon recorded a double-double in the contest for WIU, grabbing 18 rebounds to go along with 17 points. His performance against the Fighting Hawks won him the OVC Player and Newcomer of the Week award this week.

WIU is led in scoring by Junior Guard Lucas Lorenzen, who enters the contest averaging 13.8 points per game. He has scored in double figures six different times so far this season with his season-high being 25 points coming in WIU's season opener at Radford on November 3. Lorenzen is a transfer from Dordt University and is coming off a 2024-25 campaign where he was named to the NAIA All-American First Team. The Leathernecks bring in 14 newcomers to their 2025-26 roster with their lone returner from a season ago being Redshirt-Sophomore Forward Ifiok Peter.

The Lions picked up their first all-time win over Western Illinois on December 21, 2024 at Hyland Arena by a score of 71-65. Jadis Jones scored 17 points in the victory over the Leathernecks, shooting 8-13 from the floor and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds. Lindenwood will look to pick up their second straight home win over WIU on Thursday evening.

Scouting the Hornets
Harris Stowe is currently 3-10 on the 2025-26 season. The Hornets have three players who are averaging 12 or more points and are led by Freshman Forward Nashawn Davis. Davis is averaging 17.1 points per game and has scored in double digits in 10 games, including scoring 20 or more points in five contests.

The previous meeting between Lindenwood and Harris Stowe saw the Lions defeat the Hornets 99-53 in St. Charles on December 10, 2024. Jadis Jones, Jaylon McDaniel, and Clayton Jackson combined for 25 points in the victory last year as Jones scored 11 points.
