Last Time Out
Lindenwood Women's Hockey tied their 2024-2025 season win total last weekend as they defeated Bemidji State by a final score of 7-4 on Friday. 11 different skaters picked up a point in the victory for the Lions and were led in scoring by Michaela Paulinyova who lit the lamp twice in the contest. Pusle Dyring-Andersen scored her first goal of the season against the Beavers, while Lexington Secreto picked up her second win of the season as she made 28 saves. On Saturday, Zsofia Pazmandi scored both goals for Lindenwood, including the game-tying goal with less than five minutes remaining in the third period to send the series finale to Overtime. After no goals were scored in the extra period, Pazmandi scored the game-clinching shootout goal to lift the Lions to their first shootout win of the season. Pazmandi recorded two assists in Friday's contest as well which led to her being named the AHA Forward of The Week on December 2.

About Mercyhurst
The Lakers come into the series with the Lions having an overall record of 10-8-2, including an AHA record of 6-3-1. Mercyhurst currently sits in second place in the conference behind Penn State as they have picked up series sweeps over Delaware at home and Robert Morris on the road. They are led by Redshirt-Freshman Forward Julia Perjus who has nine goals scored through the first 20 games played. Her nine goals ranks sixth best in the AHA, as Perjus has a total of 16 points on the season to lead the team.

The Lakers are 4-5-1 on their home ice this season, while the Lions enter the series with a 2-8-0 road record. Last season, Lindenwood went 1-3 against Mercyhurst with their lone win happening at Centene Community Ice Center by a score of 2-1. Paige Cline, Hannah Dods, and Lucie Quarto all picked up a point in the win over the Lakers last season, and they will look to do the same thing this weekend at Mercyhurst.

Up Next
Lindenwood has nearly a month off before their next scheduled regular season game. The Lions will return to the ice in 2026 as they will host Mercyhurst to begin the final stretch of conference play. Puck drop with the Lakers will be on Friday, January 2 at 4 p.m. in Maryland Heights.
