ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Lindenwood women's rugby (7-1) picked up two home victories last Saturday as they ended play inside Hunter Stadium for the 2025 Spring Season. The Lions were able to defeated BYU by a final score of 64-22 followed by a 59-29 win over Southern Nazarene.

Madison Jersey kicked the scoring off the in the first half with a try scored at the seven minute mark. After a BYU try with an unsuccessful kick, Jersey scored her second of the half putting LU up 13-6.
Claire Ferguson followed Jersey with a score three minutes later.
After a three-point kick and a try by the Cougars,
Freda Tafuna ended the half with two scores of her own as Lindenwood went into the locker room after 40 minutes with the lead.
Jersey continued her spectacular match against BYU with two consecutive tries at the 57 and 61 minute marks.
Amy Brice, Lucia del Campo Andres and
Nevaeh Elliott all scored in the second half on their way to a 64-22 victory. Lindenwood was a perfect 5-5 on successful conversions in the final four minutes.
