ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Head coach
Amy Eagan from Lindenwood women's basketball has announced five new additions to the 2025-26 roster. The Lions are coming off their best Division I season in program history after finishing with a record of 23-11 including an appearance in the Ohio Valley Conference Championship game and the WNIT.
"I would like to thank my staff for all their hard work in putting together this class," said head coach
Amy Eagan. "We have added a total of seven kids (two early signees and five late signees) and this could not have been done without their hard work and dedication to our program. I expect all seven to add much needed experience and depth to our already very talented roster."
Justice Macon
O'Fallon, Mo. | Forward | 5-8 | Freshman | Fort Zumwalt North
Keeping it local to the St. Charles, Mo. area, Macon comes to Lindenwood University from nearby Fort Zumwalt North in O'Fallon, Mo. During her senior season, she averaged 11.2 points per game, 8.7 rebounds per game while shooting 35% from three and 37% from the field.
Jovana Nikolic
Belgrade, Serbia | Forward | 6-2 | Sophomore | Xavier
Nikolic comes to Lindenwood from Xavier University. During her time she did not appear in any games due to injury. While playing overseas, she averaged 14.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 2.0 steals with ZKK Vizura.
During her time with ZKK Korac Akademija, she averaging 17 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while leading them to an 18-0 record and a Division Championship in the Cadet League Third Division (2022-23). Nikolic helped the team get promoted to the Second Division the following season while being named a member of the Serbian U18 National Team.
Konstantina Mantziori
Athens, Greece | Guard | 5-5 | Junior | Dodge City CC
Mantziori comes to St. Charles, Mo. after spending her sophomore season at Dodge City Community College. The 5-foot-5 point guard played in 36 games last season starting 33 while averaging 23.5 minutes per game. During the 2024-25 season, she averaged 6.3 ppg, 2.5 rpg and 3.5 apg. She scored in double figures six times including a season-high 15 points on three different occasions.
During her freshman season, Mantziori attended Purdue Fort Wayne where she appeared in 16 games in the 2034-24 season. She played in a season-high 17 minutes against Great Lakes Christian where she scored four points, grabbed three rebounds and dished out five assists.
While attending Cardinal Gibbons High School in Miami, Fla., she averaged 10.9 points, 7.9 assists, 3.2 steals and 2.1 rebounds per game during the 2022-23. She was awarded Sun Sentinel 2022-23 First Team All-County and 2021-22 Honorable Mention. Mantziori was also awarded Miami Herald 2022-23 First Team All-County while winning her 2022-23 Regional Championship and earning a trip to the state Final Four.
Noah Garcia-Gonzalez
Madrid, Spain | Forward | 6-3 | Graduate Student | New Mexico State
Appearing in 12 games with two starts last season, the 6-foot-3 forward joins the Lindenwood Lions program after spending a season at New Mexico State. Garcia-Gonzalez averaged 6.3 minutes per game in her lone year with the Las Cruces. She scored a career-high four points last season against Eastern New Mexico.
Prior to her time at New Mexico State, Garcia began her collegiate career at Brandon University in Manitoba, Canada where she played two seasons. Appearing in 37 games with 11 starts, she averaged 5.0 points per game during the 2022-23 season. She also posted a career-high 86 rebounds while attending Brandon University.
Aleshia Jones
Leavenworth, Kan. | Guard | 5-7 | Graduate Student | Saginaw Valley State
Jones will use her graduate season at Lindenwood after playing the last two seasons at Saginaw Valley State University. Last season, Jones appeared in 29 games averaging 31.3 minutes a night. She scored a career-best 14.6 points per game while shooting 43.5% from the floor, 33.6% from three and 89.1% from the foul line. She scored in double-figures 20 times including a career-high 34 in the 2024-25 season opener against Northwood.
During her junior season at Saginaw Valley State, Jones averaged 13.3 points a night while shooting 38.2% from the floor. Prior to her time there, she spent her first two seasons at Iowa Western CC. During the 2022-23 season, she scored a team-high 414 points across 31 games leading the Reivers to a 26-5 record.
"I am excited to add not only some very talented young women to our spring signing class, but also great people and great students!" said Eagan. "Justice brings us athleticism and a knack for rebounding. Noah adds depth and experience to our 5 position. Her ability to stretch the floor or do back to the basket fits how we want to play. Jovana adds length and size to our 4 position. She comes from a basketball family adding IQ and some mismatch possibilities. Aleshia will be able to play the 1-3 spots. Her athleticism and ability to score at all 3 levels makes her very versatile. Konstantina is a true PG with great IQ and championship experience."
Along with the five announced signees today, Lindenwood announced the signings of Anna McCarn and Valerie Norwood last November during National Signing Day. Norwood was recently announced as Miss Kansas Basketball and was named a top 5 girls' all-state basketball player across all classifications.
