Men's Soccer improved to 2-0 for the first time since 2015 as they defeated Milwaukee on Tuesday evening by a score of 2-1. The Lions took the lead in the 25th minute on a goal from Alander Soares, who recorded his first goal with the black and gold. Lindenwood shot 10 times in the first half registering six shots on goal and took the 1-0 lead into halftime. After Milwaukee tied the game in the 59th minute, the Lions would shut down the Panthers the rest of the second half as the defense would allow only two shots in the final 30 minutes of the game. In the 81st minute, Lindenwood would capitalize on a set piece from a corner kick as Quinn Connolly would score the game-winning goal on a header to give the Lions the 2-1 victory.

About Wright State
Wright State enters the matchup with the Lions having a record of 0-2-0 in 2025. The Raiders have dropped both of their regular season games thus far with losses to Belmont and Bowling Green.
