On Tuesday afternoon the Atlantic Hockey America Hockey Conference announced that
Molly Henderson and
Tatiana Blichova have been named the AHA Forward and Rookie of the Week for their three-goal performances in a sweep over Delaware. Henderson and Blichova each scored a hat trick in back-to-back games this past weekend for the first time since the 2015-16 season when Shara Jasper recorded two straight hat tricks on October 10 and 30, 2015.
In Friday's 3-2 victory over the Blue Hens, Henderson scored all three of Lindenwood's goals, scoring one goal in each period. Her goal in the second period marked her second game-winning goal of the 2025-26 season and she is up to 10 goals on the season which ranks tied for second on the team. On Saturday, Henderson added an assist to finish with four points on the weekend. Molly becomes the fourth different skater to win a Player of the Week this season for the Lions and ranks second in the AHA in shot percentage with a .280. She also has five multi point games this season.
Meanwhile,
Tatiana Blichova won her second AHA Rookie of the Week award as the Freshman from Slovakia recorded four points in Saturday's 6-3 win over Delaware. Blichova scored her first career hat trick, scoring two of the Lions four goals in the first period, and adding her third and final goal of the game on an empty netter with less than two minutes remaining to help Lindenwood secure it's first home sweep in nearly two years. Blichova leads the 2025-26 squad in goals (11) and points (21) and has picked up 16 of her 21 points during AHA play.
Lindenwood will return to action this Friday and Saturday as they will travel to Syracuse, N.Y. to take on the Orange. Puck drop on Friday is set for 3 p.m. CT.
