Dontrez Williams scored a game-high 20 points to go along with five rebounds and five steals to lead Lindenwood. Williams was named the OVC Newcomer of the Week for the second time this season as the Sophomore guard from Sikeston, Mo. averaged 21 points, five rebounds, and six steals per game in last week's contests at SEMO and UT Martin. Williams has scored 20 or more points in five games this season which leads the 2025-26 squad.Â
Scouting The Golden Eagles
Tennessee Tech enters the matchup with the Lions with an overall record of 7-12 and an OVC record of 2-6. The Golden Eagles have defeated SEMO at home and Western Illinois on the road and were led offensively in both games by Redshirt Senior Guard Mekhi Cameron and Junior Forward Dani Pounds. Cameron and Pounds are the only two players who are averaging 10 or more points per game on the 2025-26 Golden Eagle squad with Cameron leading TTU with 11.2 points per game. Pounds is averaging 10.6 points per game and leads the Golden Eagles in three point percentage shooting 41.7% from the three point line.Â
