On Monday afternoon, Anias Futrell was named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season behind back-to-back 25 point performances against Tennessee Tech and Tennessee State. The Senior Guard from St. Louis, Mo. picked up his second double-double of the season on Thursday night against the Golden Eagles, scoring a game-high 25 points on 9-15 shooting from the floor and grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds en route to a Lions 89-68 victory. Futrell also added five assists and five steals against TTU and he followed his double double with another 25 point performance on Saturday afternoon to lead Lindenwood offensively against Tennessee State. For the week, Futrell averaged 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals per game to take home his second OVC Player of the Week honor of the season.
