Ludvig Behring of the Lindenwood men's golf team has been tabbed OVC Male Golfer of the Week after his strong play at the Zach Johnson Invitational this week in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Behring helped lead the Lions to a share of the Invitational crown and finished second overall with a score of 206 (66, 71, 69). The opening round 66 was a new low round as a member of the Black and Gold for the Sweden native.

Over the course of three rounds at Glen Oaks Country Club, Behring ranked fifth in par 3 scoring average (2.92), second in par 4 scoring average (3.91), and second in birdies (14). The senior also had an eagle during the final round with a two at the par 4 fourth.

Behring and the rest of the Lions will return to the course March 22-23 at the Skyhawk Invitational in Rockvale, Tenn.
