Last Time Out
Lindenwood defeated Little Rock on the road in their last outing on Thursday night by a score of 79-74. Anias Futrell scored a game-high 24 points in the victory over the Trojans and knocked down five straight three pointers in the second half to help lead the Lions to their ninth OVC win of the 2025-26 season. As a team, LU knocked down 52.9% of their three point attempts as Mekhi Cooper went 2-4 from deep and Dontrez Williams connected on a three pointer late in the first half. Cooper has scored 10 or more points in three straight games for the Lions, who are 2-1 over that three game stretch.

UT Martin sits in first place in the OVC standings with a conference record of 11-3, but did fall at home for the first time in conference play on Saturday to Morehead State by a final score of 61-55. The Skyhawks rank first in the OVC in points allowed per game in conference play (62.56) and ranks first in rebounding margin (+9.12). UTM is a balanced offensive squad who has four different players averaging 10 or more points on the season. Leading the way for UT Martin is Junior Guard/Forward Andrija Bukumirovic who is averaging 14.3 points per game. The Junior has scored in double figures in 10 of 14 conference games played with his best performance coming at Tennessee Tech on December 20 where he scored 28 points on 12-15 shooting from the field. 

In the last matchup against the Skyhawks, the Lions fell in Martin by score of 55-69. Dontrez Williams led Lindenwood with 20 points in the contest, while Anias Futrell chipped in 10 points and Clayton Jackson had eight.
