The Atlantic Hockey America Conference announced that
Josey Dunne-Weeks has won the AHA Defenseman of the Week for the first time this season and becomes the seventh different Lion to win an AHA Player of the Week award this season.
The Graduate student from O'Fallon, Mo recorded four assists over the weekend in Lindenwood's first road sweep of the season at Robert Morris. Dunne-Weeks had two assists in each game to lead the Lions on the blue line, and recorded eight total blocks which led the squad in the series against the Colonials. Her second assist led to the game-winning-goal scored by
Paige Cline in Friday's 3-2 overtime win and added two more assists in the first and third periods in the Lions 8-5 win on Saturday to complete the sweep over RMU. Josey has set her career-high for points in a single season with 16 (4 G, 12 A), and leads the 2025-26 team in +/- with a +11 as well as blocked shots with 70.
