Lindenwood defeated Longwood 1-0 on a walk off double from
Madisen Noll to open up the Florida Tournament last weekend. Senior pitcher
Avery Wapp threw a complete game shutout and struck out six batters en route to her team-leading third win of the 2026 season. Wapp escaped a bases loaded jam in the top of the fourth inning to keep Longwood off the scoreboard by getting three straight batters to fly our foul out to end the threat. Additonally,
Izzy Wilcox led the Lions overall last weekend in RBI with three as the Junior outfielder recorded a home run, double, and triple across five games played in Gainesville.

- Green Bay enters the Lindenwood Invite with an 0-11 record.
- Valparaiso has the same record as the Lions (6-7). Valpo is led by Sophomore Outfielder Marissa Jackson who is batting .487 on the season with 19 hits and an OB% of .524.
- Indiana State is 8-6 overall and just wrapped up the Memphis softball tournament in which they went 3-1. The Sycamores defeated Morehead State twice and Northern Illinois once with their only loss of the tournament being to Kentucky.
