On Tuesday morning, College Sports Communicators released the 2026 Academic All District Teams for Softball, with five Lindenwood Softball student athletes making the list. The players to be named to the 2026 CSC Academic All-District team included
Kylee Crowder,
Tori Hatton,
Dallis Darnell,
Anna Sanders, and
Jolie McMinn.
Leading the group for the Lions was Sanders and McMinn who each posted a 3.89 GPA during the 2025-26 school year. Sanders, an All-OVC Second Team selection, led the 2026 squad in batting average (.401), hits (73), and doubles (12) while setting the Lindenwood NCAA Era record for hits in a single season. Meanwhile, McMinn ended her Senior season by setting her career-high in games played (53), hits (50), and doubles (9). The Senior from Parkville, Mo had 77 RBI for her Lindenwood career which ranks tied for seventh all-time in Lindenwood's NCAA Era.
Hatton finished her final two semesters as a Lion with a GPA of 3.72 and had her best season in a Lindenwood uniform in 2026. Hatton, a native of Troy, Mo set several records throughout the season including driving in 44 RBI which was the most by a Lindenwood Softball player in a single season in the LU NCAA Era, and became the first player in the NCAA era to record 100 or more RBI for a career. Hatton ended her Lindenwood career with a .279 batting average in which she appeared in 198 games across four seasons, drove in 102 runs on 158 hits, and hit 14 home runs to go along with 26 doubles.
Rounding out the list was
Dallis Darnell and
Kylee Crowder. Crowder posted a GPA of 3.68 and was the only Lion to appear on the All-OVC First Team in 2026. The native of Belleville, Ill finished first on the squad in triples with five, and also set her Lindenwood career-high in RBI with 36, home runs with five, and batting average (.329). Crowder was also selected as a CSC Academic All-America Finalist.
Darnell, another Senior from Troy, Mo ended her final season as a Lion with a GPA of 3.63 and set her career-high in triples with two, while tying her career-high in RBI (13) and hits (35) during the 2026 season.
