On Tuesday morning, Clayton Jackson from the Lindenwood Men's Basketball team was named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. In order to be recognized, an undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played, or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. Jackson has a cumulative GPA of 3.57 during his time at Lindenwood University and is majoring in Business.

On the floor, the Sophomore guard from St. Louis appeared in all 33 games for the 2025-26 squad and made seven starts for the Black and Gold this season. Jackson set several career-highs in his second season with the Lions, including a 21 point performance at Northern Illinois back on December 2, 2025 in which he shot 6-9 from the field and knocked down 8-9 free throws. He recorded his first career double-double on November 6, 2025 against UHSP as he scored 13 points and finished the game with a career-high 11 assists in a 116-51 win over the Eutectics. Jackson also set a career-high for minutes played (829), points scored (235), assists (85), and rebounds (91).

The Lions ended the season with an 18-15 record which was their most wins in a single season at the Division I level. Lindenwood will look to revamp their roster in the offseason and build off of their success in the 2026-27 season.
