The Lindenwood women's golf team compiled a team score of 968 on its way to a 10
th place finish at the Ozarks National Invitational.
OVERVIEW
The Lions opened the tournament shooting a 327. That effort was led by
Paula Mariana Sanchez who fired a four-over 76 behind 12 birdies. She was followed by
Isabella Buckley and
Andrea Alvarez, each carding an 82. Alvarez had a team-high two birdies across the opening round.
Jamie Daniels shot an 87, followed by Meredith Coby with a 94.
In round two, Lindenwood shot a 316, led by Alavarez with a 75. The native of Mexico had a hole-in-one on 17 during her round. She was closely followed by Buckley and Sanchez who carded 79 and 80 respectively. Buckley had a team-high two birdies along with Alvarez. Daniels and Colby rounded out the lineup each shooting 82.
Lindenwood compiled a team score of 325 in the final round, led by Sanchez with a 76. Daniels came in just behind her shooting 79 with the help of three birdies across 18 holes. Alvarez recorded an 84, while Buckley and Colby each registered 86.
