GAME OVERVIEW
Lindenwood dominated the draw circle all day long, holding a 20-5 edge over the Titans. Brynn Delaney had 12 of them, which allowed the Lions offense to get into a rhythm. The Black and Gold scored five times before the halfway point of the first with three coming off the stick of Luci Selander. Nicole Gorman capped off the scoring for the Lions in the first as they led 6-1 after one and outshot Detroit Mercy 11-2.

The Lions extended the lead to 9-1 with the first three goals of the second quarter from Reese Krieger, Elise Fawcett, and Charlize Vang. The Titans got one back at the 5:49 mark of the middle frame, but Claire Blue found the back of net just before halftime off a feed from Vang which gave Lindenwood a 10-2 lead at the break.

Alissa DiGiacinto got the scoring started for the Lions in the third. After Detroit Mercy quickly answered, Gorman found the back of the net, making the score 12-3. DiGiacinto put Lindenwood up 13-3, scoring with just under five minutes to go in the quarter. Late in the frame, Mia Harrington made a pair of big saves off a UDM free position attempt.
