On Wednesday afternoon, the American Volleyball Coaches Association released their AVCA All-America teams, which featured one member of the Lindenwood Men's Volleyball team. Senior setter Zach Solomon was named to the AVCA All-America Honorable Mention Team for his incredible senior season, in which he set several career highs and helped lead the Lions to their most wins in a single season during the Lindenwood NCAA Era with 20.

During the 2026 season, the native of Muskego, WI was a three-time MIVA Offensive Player of the Week, which was tied for the most by a single player in the MIVA, and became the first player in program history to be named the AVCA National Player of the Week. Solomon ended the season with a career-high 917 assists, recording 18 matches with 30 or more assists and eight matches with 40+ assists. The 6'4 setter also set a career high in service aces in a single season with 54, which set the Lindenwood NCAA Era single-season record, and posted a career-high 141 digs in 91 sets played. Zach ranked in the top 10 nationally in service aces per set (#1, .593) and assists per set (#8, 10.08), while also leading the MIVA in service aces.

In his two years with the Black and Gold, Solomon finished his Lindenwood career with 1,758 assists, 89 service aces, 273 digs, and 60 blocks, while adding five double-doubles. He was named to back-to-back All-MIVA Teams, earning Second Team honors in 2025 and First Team honors in 2026, while leading the Lions in assists and service aces in each of the past two seasons. Zach is a four-time MIVA Offensive Player of the Week and has solidified his name in the Lindenwood Men's Volleyball record books for his historic two-year career with the Lions.
