United Soccer Coaches announced the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 175 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

The Lindenwood Men's Soccer team was included among the 777 schools, posting a GPA of 3.60 during the 2025-26 academic school year. The Lions had the highest GPA among the three Men's Soccer OVC Schools who appeared on the list, with Houston Christian posting a 3.44 GPA and SIUE finishing with a 3.41. 

Additionally, four members of the 2025 Men's Soccer squad were recognized last week by the Ohio Valley Conference, earning the OVC Academic Medal of Honor. The OVC Academic Medal of Honor is given annually to the student-athletes who achieve the highest grade point average in a Conference-sponsored sport. Every Academic Medal of Honor recipient for the 2025-26 academic year carried a perfect 4.0 grade point average. The Men's Soccer recipients for the OVC Academic Medal of Honor were Gavin Csiszar
