KANSAS CITY, Mo. - United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.

A total of 793 soccer teams (333 men, 460 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 184 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

The Lindenwood women's soccer team was among those honored after posting a team grade point average of 3.82 last fall and 3.83 in the spring, giving them the highest GAP in the Ohio Valley Conference.

The Lions open the 2026 season on Thursday, August 13th, hosting Bellarmine at 6:00 p.m.
