On Monday morning, the Atlantic Hockey America Conference announced the 2026-27 AHA Women's Hockey Preseason Poll with the Lindenwood Women's Hockey team picked to finish fourth in the league, alongside Syracuse. 

Penn State, the defending AHA champions, was picked to finish first in the conference receiving six first place votes, followed by Mercyhurst who received one first place vote. The rest of the poll consists of RIT, who was picked to finish third, followed by Robert Morris (6th) and Delaware (7th). 

The Lions are coming off a 2025-26 campaign in which they won a program record 14 games and appeared in the AHA Tournament Semifinal round for the first time since 2017. Lindenwood will begin their season on Friday, September 18 at Post University under first year head coach Max Gavin.
